The Ritual of Feeling’s Foundational Pillars of Wellness

Here at The Ritual of Feeling we believe that when women take charge of their health and wellness, the whole world benefits. This is why we work to help women feel safe, comfortable, confident and at home in their bodies. We teach sustainable tools and practices by focusing on our four foundational pillars; Mindfulness, Movement, Self-Care and Nutrition. My understanding is that healing begins, when you focus less on your symptoms and more on the root cause of these issues. When we open our heart and mind to the idea that we already have everything we need inside of us to heal our bodies, transformational health can take place. Take a deeper look into each of our Four Foundational pillars and discover why we believe they are paramount for overall wellness, and how these practices can change your life when adapted in a sustainable way.

Mindfulness

Mindfulness is the simple, yet complex practice of living in the present moment. When we allow ourselves to be fully present in our lives we can heal from our past and give purpose to our symptoms. When we look for meaning in each moment, healing can move continually through us.

Movement

Moving our body helps to regulate each of its functions. We sleep better feel better and even have better sex lives when we are moving our bodies regularly. We can also move in ways that assist in our natural estrogen detoxification processes while lowering cholesterol and relieving pain.

Self-Care

Self-care will look different for everyone, but by making self-care a part of our regular routine, we are taking physical actions towards reserving and maintaining a healthy and healing lifestyle. Through practicing self-care we can find balance, and focus on serving our bodies in a positive way through all parts of our daily lives.

Nutrition

Nutrition is only one part of healing the bodies symptoms; but it plays a large and ongoing role in sustainable wellness. When we are giving our body what in needs in order to strive and function optimally we are bettering our present as well as our future. What you eat is how you feel, so nutrition plays a role in both our physical and mental health.
